Karitsa is documentary, experimental film about the working process of a new composition called Karitsa. Karitsa means a young lamb and lyrics are connected to biblical passion play, but they are not under any particular religion. This film is the first recording and improvisations of a new magnum opus under construction. Getting familiar with the themes and capturing feeling of the composition, so the work can have even more possible versions and arrangements for different instruments or choirs in the future.

Matilda Mother bands composer Tomi Christiansson has always worked in special method: not rehearsing same lines but instead improvising a lot as a jazz musician. Though the genre of music goes under much larger and unlimited forms than repeating already thousand times heard sounds and harmonies.
